January 2013

2013 is here.  Well, actually a month is already gone.  I decided that this year I would post once a month.  My kids are growing fast, and we stay busy.  Bryce started off 2013 with a fractured heel.  He lost a tooth.  Brenna lost a tooth, too.  The tooth fairy stays busy at our house.  Brenna is still growing her hair.  She loves gymnastics and wants to learn to how to do a back handspring.

Bryce got released to play basketball.  He will begin the first week in February.  His team is all fourth graders.  I can't wait to watch them play.  He's been working on a project for school.  They had to invent a toy.  His group decided to make a parachute with a ball attached.  He's still reading Harry Potter books and loves to play MineCraft.  He competed in the school spelling bee.  He said he didn't want to win, but in the heat of the moment the competitiveness kicked in.  He won.  Onto the Randall County Junior Spelling Bee he went.  Bryce did great.  He placed in the top 7.

 

Brenna has been learning to read and is doing great!  She's done well in math and enjoyed the 100th day of school.  For her project, we made a bouquet of 100 flowers.  Brenna and Megan are still best friends and love to play.  Brenna went to cheer camp at the high school.  They learned two cheers and a dance.  She got to perform at half time of the Lady Eagles basketball game.  She had a blast.
