Week 30

 

 

We began this week by having lunch with GG and family.  It's always fun when everybody is there.  Bryce had been wanting to stay and play dominoes with them.  He had his opportunity this week.  Bryce filled in for Aunt Margaret.  He played with Uncle Bobby, James, Valda Jean and GG.  They thought he did great and he had fun.  I can't ask for more than that.  He would ask for more - He wants to win!

 

 

Early Friday morning - Bryce is ready to leave for church camp -

He had a ball even though the bus broke down on the way home.

Brenna got some time with just us.  We spent part of it at the Discovery Center.  She had fun running from exhibit to exhibit. It was a great week of summer.

Week 29

Tennis

 

Bryce played in the Canyon Open with kids that were 12yrs old and younger.  He wasn't sure how it would go and neither was I.

By this time, Bryce had played three matches.  His first match was tough.  He got beat by the boy who won the tournament.  Bryce won the next two matches.  In these pictures, he is playing to win the consolation bracket.

After more than 2 hot hours (and I was just watching), two tiebreakers, and some great points.......




 

 Bryce won the match!! 

A good experience at his first tournament - he learned a bunch, had fun and got a medal.
